Taylor Mortimer, A Bright New Face in the Front Office

| Senior Solutions News

Taylor is originally from Enfield, CT, and moved to Beverly, MA in 2015 to start college at Montserrat College of Art. She graduated from Montserrat in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, major in books arts and minor in creative writing. While still in school Taylor sold her artwork and interned at Epoch Preservation where she worked with them preserving cemeteries in northeastern Massachusetts. When Taylor wasn’t working on gravestones, she was a waitress in a diner and served pancakes to the people even through Covid.

The high cost of living and the pandemic brought Taylor to Claremont, New Hampshire in 2021 where she began working in a dermatology office as a receptionist. According to Taylor, she never thought she would love the medical field, but she loved helping people. She soon moved into a position as a medical assistant. Working as an MA made her feel valued.

To quote Taylor, “I came home feeling fulfilled from working with and helping the public.”  She says she is happy to have landed here at Senior Solutions where she has been able to use her problem solving and creative abilities daily. Taylor feels good going home every day knowing that what Senior Solutions does is important for so many people. “Everyone that works here has been so welcoming and for that I’m so grateful.” Claims Taylor.  We at Senior Solutions are grateful to include Taylor as part of our team!

Taylor’s work was featured in a 2019 art show “Revelations”.
