Concerned with Balance or Falling?  Free Tai-Chi Classes Resume in Ludlow!

| Senior Solutions News

Beginning in August, Tai Chi will return to Ludlow! This beginner level class is based on Dr. Paul Lam’s “Balance and Fall Prevention” techniques.  Tai Chi is a steady, rhythmic series of motions that use the whole body.  Movements can be modified to meet student’s individual needs and chairs are provided for the mobility-challenged.  Anyone with the desire to strengthen body, mind and spirit may participate.  Side effects may include increased energy and inner peace. This one-hour long, once-a-week class will start in August on Thursday mornings at 9 a.m.  Class is free and limited to 10 participants.  Registration is required by contacting the Black River Valley Senior Center at 10 High Street Ludlow, 802-228-7421.  The instructor is Helena Wu.
In addition, several other tai chi classes are open to new participants!  For opportunities in Bellows Falls, and elsewhere, check out our schedule.
