The Division of Licensing and Protection works to ensure that Vermont is the best state to grow old or have a disability, with respect, dignity, and independence.
We operate Adult Protective Services (APS) and Survey and Certification (S&C), two distinct operations in one Division focused on helping vulnerable adults. We have 38 staff members in total and work within the Department of Disabilities, Aging, and Independent Living (DAIL).
