Meals on Wheels

Eligibility:

Any person is eligible who is age 60 or over and is unable to obtain or prepare meals on a temporary or permanent basis due to a physical, mental or cognitive condition that requires assistance to leave home. 

Also Eligible: 

The spouse, regardless of age, of eligible individuals receiving HDM; and individuals under 60 years of age with a disability, who reside with an eligible individual receiving HDM.

All meals are appealing, nutritious, and can be tailored to your needs and meet the dietary and food and safety guidelines of the Older Americans Act. Up to seven days a week, you’ll get a meal, a smile, and a safety check from a friendly volunteer. In the case of an emergency or problem, medics will be called and your emergency contact will be notified.

Meals on Wheels funding comes from the Older Americans Act, Senior Solutions, local meal providers, and generous donors.
