Who Can Join?
The Advisory Council is comprised of individuals representing towns, community organizations and interests concerned with older adults. We welcome representatives from all towns in our service region.

Senior Solutions is excited to announce an open call for applications to join our Board of Directors. We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to older Vermonters and who can bring diverse skills, experiences, and perspectives to our board. If your expertise is in nonprofit governance, finance, fundraising, strategic planning, marketing, legal aid, or senior services, we welcome your application! As a board member, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and passion to help shape the future of our organization and ensure our communities support older Vermonters and their caregivers.
Board member responsibilities:
Oversee the system of services developed by Senior Solutions and is responsible for setting policy, raising funds, allocating resources, and evaluating programs and personnel.
Attend monthly, two-hour board meetings. These are held in person at our Springfield office with an option to attend by Zoom.
Participate in at least one of the following board committees:
Finance
Human Resources
Public Relations and Development
Program and Planning
Public Policy
Board Development
Board terms are for three years.
Each board member must pass a background check, sign a conflict of interest statement, and sign a confidentiality agreement.
