Old firehouse in Wilmington.
On Saturday, Dec 17, 2022 from 11 am to 1 pm, the public is invited to a Holiday Open House at the Old Firehouse, 18 Beaver Street, Wilmington. Food, beverages, and snacks will be provided by four organizations now sharing the space: Senior Solutions, Voices of Hope, SEVCA, and the AIDS Project of Southern Vermont.
The decommissioned town-owned firehouse is now being used as a health and wellness outreach location by numerous community organizations, all of whom are dedicated to bringing benefit programs and services to the residents of the Deerfield Valley. Senior Solutions staffs the location on the second and fourth Thursday of every month to assist with food, fuel, and other programs.
