Delaney Mager is the newest member of the HelpLine Team, having joined Senior Solutions on the memorable date of “2/22/22.” In speaking with her for just a few minutes, it becomes clear that she has a passion for helping our clients and has very quickly mastered many of the complex issues that face them.
She arrived with a strong background: a lifelong resident of Westminster and graduate of Bellows Falls Union High School, her work experiences at Genesis Health Care and BAYADA Home Health give her an edge in assisting clients with medical and insurance issues. The fact that she is a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) is icing on the cake.
Not unsurprisingly, the most common questions she receives on the HelpLine are related to New to Medicare applicants, the differences between Original Medicare and Advantage plans. and switching from Disability to Medicare, and when to sign up. She efficiently relates the many issues involved, including the lack of education around Medicare and the process of choosing the most beneficial coverage, coverage limits, and prior authorization requirements.
“Don’t hesitate to ask! Don’t wait!,” she says. “The support is here!”
Delaney loves advocating for clients, and adds, “I’ve never had a work environment this supportive,” as she explains how the Senior Solutions staff comes together to resolve clients’ problems.
On a personal level, Delaney loves attending local events, especially farmer’s markets and live music. Her musical tastes reflect her interest in people: she enjoys an eclectic variety of both! She displayed her own adventuresome spirit last month, when she climbed the new rock wall at the Edgar May Health Center in Springfield during a Chamber of Commerce mixer.
It would seem that reaching for new heights is part of her personal life and her work ethic with our clients!
