Senior Solutions gives a huge “shout out” to the Springfield Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association for dismantling and rebuilding a donated ramp for a double amputee veteran in Springfield. The client was housebound for two months, and is now able finally able to leave his home. Many thanks to Kurt Merriman and chapter Commander James Glidden for moving this along when Senior Solutions Vet-to-Vet Coordinator Susan Triplett reached out to them for help.
“I was able to see the ramp this morning,” said Triplett, “and heard directly from the veteran how this has changed his life.” The project is a prime example of Senior Solutions’ commitment to helping our aging veterans, and to the importance of forming local partnerships to accomplish this.
