Senior Centers, State Aging Agencies Open Virtual Doors for Seniors

Have you ever wanted to visit Joshua Tree National Park, or explore the Hoover Dam?  Perhaps  the FDR Presidential Library is more your style. Free, interactive tours and classes, allowing you participate with others and ask questions, are available from many sources for area seniors.

As Mark Bradley, Executive Director of the Bugbee Senior Center in White River Junction says, “Join us from the comfort of your living room on a Zoom set-up – or join us at the Bugbee Library and leave the ‘computer stuff’ to us!”  The Bugbee Center’s virtual activities can be easily found HERE.  Whether you are now an expert at navigating the web, or are still anxious about using a keyboard, many local Senior Centers can help you join in exciting virtual events and classes.

In addition to what the area senior centers have pioneered, the Vermont Area of Agencies on Aging have entered into an agreement with GetSetUp, a regular schedule of classes presented by seniors, for seniors.  Read more about the hundreds of interactive classes.
