Senior Solutions supports and oversees 13 home-delivered Meals on Wheels Programs and 29 community meals sites provided by local community partners. During this past year, more than 4,700 area seniors relied on these programs – programs which involve a large network of cooks, packagers, delivery drivers, and others.

For some, though, the holidays may stir feelings of loss, making it tough to embrace the spirit of the season. It can be a very complicated couple of months. One thing we all have in common is that memories tend to come flooding back.

Senior Solutions, Family Center launch “Chester Andover 100%” Campaign for Food, Fuel Security

Two local organizations – Senior Solutions and the Chester-Andover Family Center – have come together to launch a campaign to ensure that 100% of the residents of those towns are both food and fuel secure as we enter the winter months. This is to be accomplished through an intense, community-based, collaborative effort designed to reach each household in the two towns with clear, concise information through trusted communication channels as to the availability of resources, and to assist them in participating, applying and obtaining these benefits.

Senior Solutions is asking for your assistance in the process of looking for nominees for our twenty-fourth Annual Successful Aging Award. As a key leader in your community, we hope that you will either consider nominating someone or pass the nomination form to others in your community for their consideration. The Successful Aging Award recognizes the accomplishments of an older adult who is at least 80 years old and lives in Windham or Windsor County.
