Senior Solutions invites caregivers to participate in two different grant programs that provide direct financial assistance to help ‘give them a break’ from the daily needs of caring for loved ones with dementia or other debilitating conditions. These two programs, the Dementia Respite Grant and the National Family Caregiver Support Grant, provide funding that allows households to hire others to provide some periodic care of their loved ones.

UVM “CARERs” Program for Family Caregivers Accepting Applicants for Fall Sessions
If you or someone you know is a family caregiver to a loved one living with advanced stages of dementia, you will want to consider participating in the CARERs Program offered by the UVM Center on Aging. This series of 8 sessions via telemedicine will take place in September and October; specific dates will be forthcoming.

Memory Cafés expand to three events/locations in July
