Elder Care Program

Seniors who are depressed, anxious, or face difficulties coping with stressors in their lives may be able to benefit from the Elder Care Program.

Senior Solutions collaborates with Health Care & Rehabilitation Services (HCRS), the mental health agency serving Windham and Windsor Counties, to provide older adults (age 60 and up) with mental health services in their homes and in the community.

Some of the services offered: supportive counseling, assistance with daily living tasks, and accompanying seniors into the community to alleviate loneliness and isolation. Program staff include a licensed social worker, a psychologist, and trained outreach workers.

PEARLS

Seniors who are feeling sad, down, or blue may want to take advantage of PEARLS, a Program to Encourage Active Rewarding Lives for Seniors.
Senior Solutions offers this free in-home counseling program to help people get unstuck and feel better. During 8 sessions over the course of 19 weeks, participants explore creative solutions to meeting life’s challenges. Watch this short video to learn more:
